DEVCON SUMMIT 2018: TECH COMMUNITIES UNITE
Developers Connect Philippines (DevCon PH) proudly brings you Devcon Summit 2018: Cebu Edition. With the theme “Tech Communities Unite”, it will surely bring you a totally different experience from all others.
DevCon Cebu has connected with different tech community leaders in Cebu City to discuss what are the challenges our industry is currently facing. We've all agreed that there is a disconnect in our community which promotes less growth in each tech individuals. We believe that building a strong bond with each other will help the industry grow as we connect to support professionals, students, and technopreneurs by providing them the tools and resources that they need. And that's how the theme was born! We strongly believe this will open many doors to each and every developers in Cebu.
Developers, tech leaders, technopreneurs, students, and tech-minded alike, let's all come together in one of the biggest avenue for aligning ourselves with the latest technology trends. With over 10 tech communities joining the event such as Cebu Game Dev, Symfony Cebu, Cebu Wordpress Meetup, GDG Cebu, to name a few, has united in Cebu for one cause: to offer you a day of pure tech trends filled with fun and exciting activities.
The event will be having different activities throughout the day. Keynote topics, such as starting your very own startups, blockchain, IoT, artificial intelligence and latest trends on UI/UX, will be discussed by distinguished speakers and will be held at the Main Hall. And if participants would like to have more immersion with their field of interest, the event will have breakout sessions where participants can go to designated venues to deep-dive on more discussions and possible coding sessions. Breakout sessions will give everyone a chance to interact and converse directly from experts.
Apart from all the activities mentioned above, participants will have the possibility to catch various tech group enthusiasts in their booths and get a chance to win prizes or simply collect amazing tokens and giveaways.
