React Series: Zero to Hero - 5
React Cebu
Description
React Series: Hero to Zero is a 4 hours intensive discussion and coding session design for beginners to learn how to create small and medium ReactJS applications.
For our 5th session let's apply everything we learned so far and build a real world application and deploy it LIVE.

Topics covered:
1. github.com/facebook/create-react-app - Set up a modern React web app by running one command.
2. API's - let's create a backend app to manage data including authentication.
3. Authentication - let's put our todos behind a protected route that only authenticated users will be able to manage.
4. Deployment - Let's put what we work on LIVE so you can show it to your friends.
And in the end, let's all be proud to have achieve creating a small to medium-sized React application.
Next session will be our hackathon. And that's the time you create your own thing. Yay! 😊
Some things we would like to highlight for the Session 5:
- We will be collecting 100php as door fee for the snacks, and we require you to bring your own laptop.
- Session starts at 1PM, doors open for Registration at 12NN. Please come on time, as we want to maximize the duration of the workshop and discuss as many topics as we can.
- Workshop participants should have NodeJS version 8+ installed in their laptops, and should have a text editor (VSCode, Sublime, Atom, etc.)
