Description
Hi all! For 2024, we'll skip the basics (and let the student groups provide them) and go to Advanced topics in Python by hitting the books!
For the months of June onwards, we will be reading a total of 3 books and some Study Guides in preparation for your AWS Certification, as part of your path to a career in DevSecOps!
For the next meetup, we will be starting our DevOps Journey by reading the classic DevOps Case Study Novel, The Phoenix Project: A Novel about IT, DevOps, and Helping Your Business Win by Gene Kim, Kevin Behr, and George Spafford.
The meetup will be this Saturday, July 6, 2024, 11:30 AM, at Mezzanine Coffee and Bar - Lahug at The Esplanade, Salinas Drive, which is the newly built complex in front of IT Park and beside Metrosports.
Please READ AS MUCH AS YOU CAN in preparation for this meetup, preferably all of it. It's fine if you don't finish it, but please do read the book even just a bit.
Jacob will be leading this Technical Book Club program, and will be starting the discussion on the book. Please don't be shy to ask him questions, but please do remember that he's also learning along with you. He's not here to digest the book for everyone, but for everyone to have a discussion about the book and the topic. Please take note of that.
And hopefully, y'all be able to discuss the books yourselves on the next meetups. Because the best way to learn is to teach. Feynman Method, yo! ;)
