Description
Hi all! For 2024, we'll skip the basics (and let the student groups provide them) and go to Advanced topics in Python by hitting the books!
For the months of January to April, we will be reading a total of 4 books focusing on concepts and skills for becoming a Data Architect. Then, for each book we will have 2 meetups.
Our book for this January is Modern Data Architectures with Python by Brian Lipp. This will be the First Meetup for this book, which will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2023, 11:30 AM, at Bo's Coffee - Primo at Ayala Central Bloc, IT Park.
Please READ AS MUCH AS YOU CAN in preparation for this meetup, preferably half of it. It's fine if it's not half, but please do read the book even just a bit.
Jacob will be leading this Technical Book Club program, and will be starting the discussion on the book. Please don't be shy to ask him questions, but please do remember that he's also learning along with you. So this is also his first time reading the book.
And hopefully, y'all be able to discuss the books yourselves on the next meetups. Because the best way to learn is to teach. ;)
Happy learning, y'all!
